Getting a Ventra fare card or adding funds to your account can easily be handled at Ventra vending machines and at over 1,300 retail locations including many drugstores and currency exchanges.
ADA tickets can be purchased at over 40 selling locations in the city and some suburbs. Additionally, Ventra accounts can now also be used to pay for paratransit trips when making your reservation.
If you wish to use cash, credit or debit cards to add funds to your Ventra account, you can do so at any Ventra vending machine and at 1,300 Ventra retail locations including many drugstores and currency exchanges.
Ventra vending machines are available at every CTA rail station and Pace has a number of machines at the following suburban locations:
At Ventra vending machines, card holders can reload transit value, load Pace or CTA passes, check their balance, and even get a new card. Riders eligible for reduced or student fares are also able to load the reduced fare products to their account.
Just be sure to bring your Ventra card with you.
