250 - Dempster Street

Major destinations along the Route 250 and Pulse Dempster include the CTA Purple Line Davis Street Station, Metra UP-North Line Davis Street Station, Downtown Evanston, Dempster-Skokie CTA Station, Notre Dame High School, Lutheran General Hospital, Maine East High School, Metra UP-Northwest Des Plaines Station, O'Hare Multi-Modal Facility (MMF).

PLEASE NOTE: 

Route 250 is the local complement to the Pulse Dempster Line. 

Pulse offers a significant increase in service frequency along Dempster Street above and beyond that offered by the local Route 250 bus service. Pulse's Dempster operates service at 20-minute frequency between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., at 15-minute frequency from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and at 20-minute frequency until the service ends at proximately 1:00 a.m. depending on the day of week.  

Pulse Dempster offers improved reliability due to Transit Signal Priority technology as well as enhanced stations with modern passenger amenities such as heated shelters, real-time signage and level boarding for faster service.
