TripCheck: Requesting Information

Attention TripCheck Users:

Thank you for using TripCheck, a convenient way to ensure you have all the information you need to be ready for your upcoming paratransit rides. Please note that, as of October 22, 2026, the TripCheck text messaging number has changed. TripCheck text message users are impacted in two ways:

• Those who send a text to request a bounceback text message showing their next scheduled ride must, as of October 22, send that text to a new phone number: 866-382-7223 (866-ETA-PACE).
• Those who are subscribed to receive alerts (such as Trip Booking Notification, Trip Cancel Notification, Imminent Arrival Notification & Trip Itinerary Notification) now receive those messages from 866-382-7223. Subscribers to these automated alerts do not need to take any action to continue getting those messages after October 22.

All other aspects of TripCheck—including the website, the mobile app, and requesting trip information by email or phone call—remain unchanged. See below for those instructions. If you have any questions about this process, please email TripCheckHelp@PaceBus.com.

Setting up your alert preferences (in the TripCheck portal) will allow you to receive automatic updates from Pace, but you can also reach out to our system at any time to request information about your trips.

Automated Phone Line

1. Dial 1-833-USE-PACE.
2. You will be prompted to enter your TripCheck ID and then your password.
3. You'll then be asked if you want to hear upcoming trip details, cancel a trip, enable trip reminders, or change your password.

Text Messaging

1. Set up a text message to the phone number 866-382-7223.
2. In the body of the message, type Tripcheck ID:password and then press “send.” Example: Tripcheck 654321:123456
3. Don’t include any spaces before or after the colon.
4. The system will then return a text message with your next upcoming trip.

Email Messaging

1. Send an email to TripCheck@PaceBus.com with the subject line being your TripCheck ID, then a colon, then your password. (Don’t include any spaces before or after the colon.) You do not need to enter any message in the body of the email. 
2. You’ll get a return email from Pace TripCheck with any trips scheduled for today and tomorrow.

NOTE: By selecting to opt into these notifications, you are providing your permission to receive trip notifications by email, automated voice phone call or SMS text.
