John D. Noak

Director Noak has served as Mayor of the Village of Romeoville since 2008. Mayor Noak is on the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) Executive Board, is the 2025-26 Chair of the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus, is President of the Will County Governmental League, is the Chairman of the Des Plaines Valley Enterprise Zone, and serves on the Transportation Committee for the U.S. Conference of Mayors. Noak also serves on the Transportation & Infrastructure Services Committee, the University Communities Council and the Council on Youth, Education, and Families at the National League of Cities.

Mayor Noak earned his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from DePaul University. He is also a member of Pi Alpha Alpha the International Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration.

On Pace's Board of Directors, he represents Will County. He has served on the Pace Board since 2022.
