Routes 501, 505 and 507 Detour Alert

Due to closure of the Cass St. bridge over the Des Plaines River in Joliet for equipment upgrades, Routes 501, 505, and 507 will detour as follows:

Route 501 Westbound,

Route 505 Clockwise (outbound) and

Route 507 Westbound:

Cass – Joliet – Jackson – Broadway – Western (regular route).

During the detour, buses will not operate on Cass/Western between Joliet and Broadway. Routes 501 and 507 Eastbound, and all other Route 505 service will not be affected.

Buses will detour until work is complete, which is expected to require a minimum of two months.
