Route 801 Detour Alert

Effective Friday, September 26, 2025 ONLY

Due to the Gevena High School parade in Geneva, Route 801 will operate on the following detour between 1:30pm and 4:00pm:

Route 801 Southbound
IL 38 (State) → Kaneville → James → 3rd → Resume regular routing

Route 801 Northbound
1st → James → Kaneville → IL 38 (State) → Resume regular routing

During this detour, buses will not serve IL 38 (State) between Kaneville and 1st, 3rd between IL 38 (State) and James, and 1st between IL 38 (State) and James.

Please note that posted bus stop signs will not be present along the detour routing. Passengers may get on or off the bus at any intersection along the detour routing where it is safe to do so. Please allow additional travel time while this detour is in effect.
