Route 508 Detour Alert
Starts Monday, May 4, 2026
Washington will close between Henderson and Logan in Joliet for road work. Buses will detour as follows:
Eastbound: 2nd – Miller – Washington – Henderson – Cass – Briggs – 2nd – White – Washington – Briggs (regular route).
Westbound: Maple – Walnut – Cass – Ottawa (regular route).
No Westbound buses will operate on Richards, 2nd, Briggs, Washington, Walnut, Cass (east of Walnut), Jefferson, and Eastern. Passengers should board Eastbound service.
No service will be available on 2nd east of Miller, Boulder, and on Washington between Boulder and White.
Buses will detour until construction is complete, which is expected in approximately two months. Please allow extra travel time during the detour.
