Route 311 Detour Alert
Effective Wednesday, January 14, 2026
Due to a construction project on Oak Park Avenue between Randolph Street and Ontario Street in the Village of Oak Park, buses will operate on the following detour until construction is complete:
Route 311 Detour
Oak Park Avenue ↔ Madison Street ↔ Harlem Avenue ↔ Chicago Avenue ↔ Oak Park Avenue
Route 311 S-Trip Detour
AM Northbound: Oak Park Avenue → Madison Street → Harlem Avenue → Lake Street
PM Southbound: Lake Street → Harlem Avenue → Madison Street → Oak Park Avenue
Buses will not operate on Oak Park Avenue between Madison Street and Chicago Avenue.
On the temporary segment of the route, posted bus stop signs will not be present. Riders can get on or off the bus at any safe intersection along that segment.
Pace will provide an updated notice when Route 311 resumes regular service in this area.
