Pulse Dempster and Route 250 Detour Alert
Effective Sunday, September 28, 2025
Due to an event between 8AM and 2PM on Ridge Avenue in Evanston, westbound Pulse Dempster and westbound Route 250 will detour as follows:
Davis Street → Asbury Avenue → Dempster Street → Regular Route
Westbound buses will not operate on Ridge Avenue between Davis Street and Dempster. On the temporary route segments, Route 250 bus stop signs will not be present. Riders can get on or off the Route 250 bus at any safe intersection along those segments.
Pulse Dempster and Route 250 Eastbound buses are not affected by the event and will operate their regular route.
Buses will detour until completion of the event, which is expected to be 2PM. Please allow additional travel time during this detour.
