What does P.A.C.E. stand for?

Despite what many people think, Pace is not an acronym. In 1985, the Board selected "Pace" as the marketing name for the Suburban Bus Division of the Northern Illinois Transit Authority. 

So, while it looks like it should stand for something, it doesn't. And just to keep things official, only the letter P should be capitalized.
