Routes 563, 564 and 568 Detour Alert

Due to the closure of the Lake and S. Genesee intersection in Waukegan, starting on Friday, May 16, 2025, Routes 563, 564, and 568 will detour as follows:
Route 564 and Route 568 Eastbound Detour
Belvidere - Sheridan - Resume Regular Route
Route 564 and Route 568 Westbound
Genesee - Water - Sheridan - Belvidere - Resume Regular Route
Route 563 Southbound Detour
Genesee - Water - Sheridan - Belvidere - Genesee - Resume Regular Route
Route 563 Northbound Detour
Belvidere - Sheridan - Resume Regular Route
During this detour, all routes will not operate on Genesee between Water and Belvidere. On the temporary route segments, bus stop signs will not be present. Riders can get on or off the bus at any safe intersection along those segments.
Buses will detour until the Lake and S. Genesee intersection is reopened, which is expected to be on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Please allow additional travel time during the detour.
