Routes 314 and 316 Detour Alert

Effective Tuesday, October 28, 2025

Due to construction at Morton College in Cicero, Routes 314 and 316 will be unable to enter the Morton College campus. As a result, Routes 314 and 316 will operate the following detour starting Tuesday, October 28, 2025,until construction is complete:

Route 314 Southbound Detour

Central Avenue → End southbound service at Central Avenue/38^th Street

Route 314 Northbound Detour

Begin northbound service at Central Avenue/38^th Street → Central Avenue→ 35^th Street → Laramie Avenue → Pershing Road → Regular routing

Route 316 Southbound Detour

Laramie Avenue → Pershing Road → Central Avenue → End southbound service at Central Avenue/38^th Street (Note: southbound trips will not operate on 35th Street or Central Avenue north of 38^th Street during the detour)

Route 316 Northbound Detour

Begin northbound service at Central Avenue/38^th Street → Regular routing

On the temporary route segments, posted bus stop signs will not be present. Riders can get on or off the bus at any safe intersection along those segments.
