Route 801 Detour Alert
Effective Friday, December 5, 2025
Due to the closure of 3rd between State and South for the Geneva Christmas Walk, Route 801 buses will operate as follows beginning at 5PM:
Route 801 Southbound
- IL 38 (State Street) → 1st → South → 4th → Crescent → End at Geneva Metra Station
- Buses will not serve 3rd Street north of Crescent Place Route 801 Northbound
• Geneva Metra Station → 3rd → Resume regular route
Please note that posted bus stop signs will not be present along the detour route. Passengers may get on or off the bus at any intersection along the detour route where it is safe to do so. Please allow additional travel time during this detour.
