Route 714 Detour Alert
Effective Friday, September 5, 2025
Due to construction activity on Lorraine Road between 22ndStreet/Fawell Boulevard and Roosevelt Road in Wheaton, Route 714 will operate on the following detour until construction is complete:
Route 714 Detour Southbound Routing
Roosevelt Road → Lambert Road → Regular route
Route 714 Detour Northbound Routing
Fawell Boulevard → Lambert Road → Roosevelt Road → Regular route
Please note that during this detour Route 714 will not operate on Lorraine Road between Roosevelt Road and 22nd Street.
On the temporary route segments, bus stop signs will not be present. Riders can get on or off the bus at any safe intersection along those segments.
