Route 714 Detour Alert

Due to construction activity on Willow between Wheaton Avenue and Hale Street in Wheaton, Route 714 will detour until construction is completed, expected to be 2 years.

Route 714 Southbound Detour Routing

Childs Street/Illinois Street → Washington Street → Crescent Street → resume regular route.

There is no northbound service detour.

Please note that during this detour Route 714 southbound service will not operate on West Street between Childs Street and Liberty Drive or Liberty Drive between West Street and Cross Street or Willow Avenue between Cross Street and Washington Street.

Additionally, on the temporary segment of the route, posted bus stop signs are not present. Riders can get on or off the bus at any intersection on the temporary segment of the route where it is safe to do so.
