Route 570 Detour Alert

Effective Saturday, March 14, 2026, ONLY
 

Due to the closure of Center St. between Railroad and Slusser in Grayslake for the Grayslake St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, Route 570 trips will detour as follows:

Counterclockwise (AM)

• IL 120 → Lake → Washington → IL 83 → Center (Regular route).

Clockwise (PM)

• Center → IL 83 → Washington → Lake → IL 120 (Regular route).

During this detour, buses will not serve Center St. between IL 83 and Lake St.

Please note that posted bus stop signs will not be present along the detour routing. Passengers may get on or off the bus at any intersection along the detour where it is safe to do so.
 

Buses will resume regular routing on Monday, March 16, 2026.
