Memorial Day 2026 Holiday Service Summary
On Monday, May 25, 2026 (Memorial Day), some Pace routes will operate on a Sunday schedule
Route 550 Service Change
Effective Monday, June 1, 2026
To better match travel demand, Pace is changing service on Route 550. A summary of the changes is provided below:
Weekday:
• Two PM roundtrips and one AM roundtrip will be extended to the Crystal Lake Metra Station.
• All trips will now serve the Crystal Lake Metra Station, Pace I-90/Randall Road Park n Ride, and Sherman Hospital.
• “M,” “J,” “F,” and “T” trip patterns will be discontinued. All trips will now operate via Randall Road.
• Trip times will shift by up to 16 minutes to improve on-time performance.
