Route 472 Detour Alert
Effective Thursday, August 14, 2025
Due to construction on Oakwood in Highland Park between Thursday, August 11, 2025 and Friday, August 22, 2025, Route 472 buses will detour as follows:
Northbound Trips
August 14 – 4PM on August 15
Highland Park Metra → First → Central → St. Johns →Resume Regular Route
Southbound Trips
August 18 – 4PM on August 22
St. Johns → Central → First → Highland Park Metra → Resume Regular Route
During this detour, buses will not operate on St. Johns south of Central, Mulberry, or Oakwood.
Please allow additional travel time during this detour.
