Route 386 Detour Alert

Starts Tuesday, June 3, 2025 (select dates only)

Oak Park Avenue will close in Tinley Park for the following summer events:

Cruise Nights:

Closed: 173^rd Pl. – 171^st St.

Tuesdays Only, 6/3-9/9

(except on 8/5) 4:00–8:00PM

Downtown Block Party:

Closed: Hickory – 173^rd Pl.

Saturday 7/19, 2:00–10:00PM

Sunday 7/20, 12:00–7:00PM

During these events, Route 386 buses will detour as follows:

Northbound (Cruise Nights): Oak Park – 173^rd Pl. – Harlem – 171^st St. – Oak Park (Resume regular route).

Northbound (Downtown Block Party): Oak Park – Hickory – Harlem – 171^stSt. – Oak Park (Resume regular route).

Southbound (All Events): Oak Park – 171^st St. – Harlem – 183^rd (Resume regular route).

During these detours, buses will not operate northbound on Oak Park Ave. between 173^rd Pl. and 171^st St. (Cruise Nights) and on Oak Park Ave. between Hickory St. and 171^st St. (Downtown Block Party). Also, buses will not operate southbound on Oak Park Ave. south of 171^st St. or on 183^rd St. east of Harlem Ave.
