Job Description:
Under the direction of the Acting Department Manager, Human Resources, is responsible for recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, screening, interviewing, and testing. Handles employee relations, unemployment claims, releases of information and/or wage deductions, verifications, and references. Performs data entry. Creates, manages, and maintains records and reports. Attends job fairs. Performs other duties as assigned or required. Local travel is required.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Must have a bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field and a minimum of three years of relevant human resources experience, recruitment and employee relations experience is preferred, or equivalent in business or related field, and must have a good work history; a professional in human resources certificate is preferred. Demonstrated proficiency using computers, including the ability to conduct research using the Internet, and using Microsoft Office suites applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Oracle HRIS is required. Must be customer service oriented with strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Must be organized and able to prioritize work to meet deadlines. Excellent written and oral communication skills and data entry skills are required. Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism, maintaining strict confidentiality. Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment.
