Advantage Van and Not-For-Profit Shuttle
Non-profit organizations can help get their employees or clients to a work
location with two convenient and affordable shuttle program options.
The Advantage Program is available to not-for-profit human service organizations/workshops/agencies
located in the Pace six county region that hold a current State of Illinois Developmental
Training Certification or equivalent, which provide work-related transportation
service to persons with disabilities at the rate of $250 per month per van. The
agency shall provide and maintain insurance covering all losses, claims, suite,
costs, demands and expenses arising out of its provision of transportation services
as required by Pace. Agency′s insurance shall be primary, not contributory,
and shall not be in excess of any other Pace insurance.
Pace also administers a Not-For-Profit Shuttle Vehicle Program which provides
vans to not-for-profit agencies in the Pace service area for their use in transporting
individuals between work sites and public transportation centers at the rate of
$600 per month per van. Service is open to the general public.
Pace will provide auto liability (bodily injury and property damage) insurance
and physical damage (comprehensive and collision) coverage for the Pace provided
vehicles(s) utilized in by the agency, provided agency follows Pace policy regarding
accident/incidents and reporting procedures.
With prior approval from Pace, Agency may charge riders/participants an administrative
fee(s) to cover costs associated with the operation of the Advantage Service.
