Bus Service to/from the Region's Airports
Parking at O'Hare can cost up to $60 per day. Taking a taxi from Midway can cost an arm and a leg. However, you can get to or from the airport for just $1.75 each way, and have more cash for your trip, by riding Pace!
Pace provides 17 routes that serve either O'Hare International (ORD) or Midway (MDW) airports. Your drop off and pick up locations are conveniently located near O'Hare's airport tram, Midway's airport entrance or the CTA Blue Line*, which connects into O'Hare Airport.
Bags ride free! There are no luggage restrictions on Pace buses. If you're traveling with caged pets, they ride free as well.
Start saving money that would be otherwise spent on driving and parking your car at the airport. Look for your Pace route map and schedule at the links below to help plan your trip.
Visitors to northeastern Illinois who don't have a Ventra™ Card can ride Pace buses by paying with your personal bankcard (if it contains a contactless chip) or by paying cash, with exact fare required on the bus.
Routes Serving Midway Airport
Routes Serving O'Hare International Airport
* If your trip consists of a transfer between a Pace bus and the CTA Blue Line, you can spend less by purchasing a Ventra Card from the vending machine at the O’Hare Station or by loading Ventra transit value to your personal contactless bankcard. Ventra is valid on both systems. If paying cash, you will need to pay $1.75 on the Pace bus and separately buy a $5.00 limited use Ventra ticket to board the CTA Blue Line at O’Hare (or a $3.00 Ventra ticket at any other CTA rail station). The Ventra system (including your personal contactless bankcard) allows you to buy fare products, such as a 7-Day pass valid on CTA and Pace, or load transit value. Transit value can be used to pay for rides on CTA or Pace, and allows you to transfer between the systems for only $0.25.
