Wrigley Field Express

Route 282 Schaumburg - Wrigley Field Express
Route 779 Yorktown - Wrigley Field Express

Construction Notice

Due to ongoing construction at Wrigley Field, service to the stadium may be changed without notice. As a result, Pace staging areas may not be available and there may be delays getting to and from the stadium. Service may be further limited as spacing for Pace vehicles may be reduced on heavy attendance days.

Pace's two Wrigley Field Express routes take passengers directly from either the Northwest Transportation Center in Schaumburg or from the Yorktown Center in Lombard to the ballpark. Riders can take advantage of free parking at both locations.

Service Dates: The Wrigley Field Express routes serve the home opener game, night games, weekend and holiday games, and every game in June, July and August. There is no service to daytime weekday games in April, May, September, or October.
Service Hours:
See schedule below for route departure times. Buses depart from Wrigley Field 30 minutes after the game ends. Drop-off and pick-up points are marked with Pace bus stop signs on Clark Street. Riders should ensure they board the bus headed to their correct destination.

Now you can use your Ventra card or personal contactless bankcard for quicker boarding on ESPD buses. Riders may continue to use cash—only $4.00 per person each way (exact change is required).

Surcharges apply for riders using regular Pace/CTA passes, and can be paid for with cash or Ventra transit value. Free rides for Ride Free Card holders and up to two children (under 7 years old) riding with each fare-paying adult. Reduced fares are available for qualified riders.

Pace Service to Cubs Games

Service Note:

Due to capital funding constraints, Pace can provide a limited number buses at both the Schaumburg and Yorktown (Lombard) boarding locations for weekday service on the Wrigley Field Express.

Riders are seated on a first-come-first-served basis.

If all seats are filled on all buses, extra passengers can board but must stand. Pace should be able to accommodate everyone who wants to ride.

Pace apologizes for any inconvenience.

Go Cubs!
