Agency (Pace.) Our goal is to provide easy access to Pace route information,
Pace services and links to its affiliated agencies. As part of providing this
service, we use computerized security systems to help us manage our systems
and to monitor usage and verify proper operation of Pace systems, including
the Pace web site.
Information Collected and Stored Automatically If you
visit our site to read or download information, such as career opportunities,
press releases, purchasing notices or bus route information, we automatically
collect and store only the following information about you:
- The name of your domain (for example, "yourdomain.com" or "yourschool.edu")

This information is primarily collected for statistical analysis. This government

used for such purposes as assessing what information is of most and least interest,
determining technical design specifications, and identifying system performance
or problem areas. In certain circumstances, however, we may take additional
steps to identify you based on this information and we may share this information,
including your identity, with other government agencies.
Lastly, if we discover evidence of a user trying to exploit, crash, hack,
intrude, damage or otherwise gain illegal access to any computer system involving

our agency. We may enter such information into a database and we may share
it with affiliated government agencies, for example, the RTA, CTA or Metra,
the US Department of Transportation or local political bodies such as your
local taxation district, township, city, town or county government; as well
as local lawmakers and transit planners
- In addition, Public Hearing comments, including those submitted electronically,
are a matter of public record and may be read and/or reported by news media.

- In no event is your information ever shared or sold to mailing list brokers,
or divulged to any commercial enterprise except where there is a clear relationship
to area transit (i.e. a local college or transit study may want to send mail
to you in relation to a study or program related to local transit.)
- You should be aware that E-Mail is not necessarily secure against interception.
If your communication is very sensitive or includes personal information,
you may want to send it in by postal mail instead.
Security, Intrusion and Detection For site security purposes,
and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, all network
traffic, including all access via internet connections, is monitored. To protect
Pace systems from unauthorized use and to ensure the system is functioning properly,
individuals using this computer system are subject to having all their activities
monitored and recorded in systems logs.
In addition, all internet connections are logged in order to identify unauthorized
access to computing and systems, including unauthorized login attempts, installing
any program not pre-approved by Pace systems personnel, or attempts to upload
any file or change any information, or otherwise cause damage or conduct criminal
activity. Violations will be reported to the appropriate authorities and charges
will be pursued.
All monitoring will be conducted by personnel authorized by Pace. Pace will
