Routes 565 and 568 Service Change

Starts Sunday, June 4, 2023
 

To improve on-time performance and respond to customer requests, the schedules for these routes are being adjusted as follows:
 

Route 565

• Most eastbound “G” trips (from Six Flags Great America Employee Entrance) are shifting 2 – 10 minutes earlier on weekdays, 2 – 6 minutes earlier on Saturdays, and 2 – 4 minutes earlier on Sundays

• Most westbound “G” trips (to Six Flags Great America Employee Entrance) are shifting to leave Waukegan Metra Station 2 – 10 minutes earlier on weekdays and 2 – 5 minutes earlier on Saturdays, but are keeping current schedule times at Washington/Sheridan and all subsequent timepoints

• The Saturday eastbound trip scheduled to leave Gurnee Mills at 10:33pm is shifting 27 minutes later and will now depart at 11:00pm

• A new Saturday westbound trip from Waukegan Metra Station to Gurnee Mills is being added at 10:21pm

Route 568

• The westbound trips scheduled to depart Washington/Sheridan on Saturdays at 7:02pm, 9:48pm, and 11:07pm and on Sundays at 7:22pm and 8:12pm are being extended to Fountain Square

• New Saturday eastbound trips from Fountain Square to Washington/Sheridan are being added at 7:31pm and 10:31pm

• A new Saturday eastbound trip from Fountain Square to Whispering Oaks is being added at 11:36pm

• New Sunday eastbound trips from Fountain Square to Whispering Oaks are being added at 7:45pm and 8:35pm
