Routes 563, 564, and 568 Detour Alert
Effective Monday, September 23, 2024
Due to road closures at the intersection of Water and Genesee, Madison and Genesee, and Clayton and Genesee in Waukegan, Routes 563, 564, and 568 buses will operate on the following detours beginning on Monday, September 23, 2024.
Route 563 Southbound / Route 564 Westbound / Route 568 Westbound Detour
Sheridan → Grand → County → Belvidere → Resume regular routing
Route 563 Northbound / Route 564 Eastbound / Route 568 EastboundDetour
Belvidere → Sheridan → Resume regular routing
During this detour, Routes 563, 564 and 568 will not serve Clayton between Sheridan and Genesee and Genesee between Clayton and Belvidere. Routes 564 and 568 will also not serve Belvidere east of County.
Normal routing is expected to resume on October 26, 2024.
Please note that posted bus stops are not present along this route. Passengers may get on or off the bus at any intersection along the route where it is safe to do so. Please allow additional travel time during this period.
