Routes 546, 547 and 548  Service Change 

Starts Monday, April 3, 2023 

To improve service performance, all inbound Route 546, 547, and 548 trips into the Elgin Transportation Center will have adjusted routing as follows: 
 

Route 546 Inbound 

• Crystal → South → Jackson → Highland → State → Chicago 

• Buses will no longer serve Crystal between South and Chicago, and Chicago between Crystal and State 

Route 547 Inbound 

• Lawrence → State → Chicago 

• Buses will no longer serve Crystal between Lawrence and Ball, and Ball between Crystal and State 

Route 548 Inbound 

• Chicago → Jackson → Highland → State → Chicago 

• Buses will no longer serve Chicago between Jackson and State 

Trip schedules and routing for outbound trips are not affected and will not be adjusted at this time. Pace Bus Tracker, Trip Planner and other trip planning apps will be updated to reflect these changes as quickly as possible.
