Routes 524, 530 and 802
Effective Wednesday, November 8, 2023
Due to further changes in construction activity on Broadway from Benton to Spring for water main updates in downtown Aurora, Routes 524, 530, and 802 buses will operate the modified detours as follows:
Route 524 Eastbound and Route 802 Southbound
• Galena → Lincoln → Spring → Broadway → Aurora Transportation Center
• Buses will not serve Broadway between Galena and Spring
Route 524 Westbound
• Aurora Transportation Center → Broadway → Spring → Lincoln → New York → River
• Buses will not serve Broadway between Spring and New York
Route 802 Northbound
• Aurora Transportation Center → Broadway → Spring → Lincoln → New York → Lake
• Buses will not serve Broadway between Spring and New York
Route 530 Eastbound
• Galena → Lincoln → Spring → Broadway → Aurora Transportation Center → Broadway → Spring → Lincoln → New York
• Buses will not serve Broadway between Galena and Spring, and New York between Lincoln and Broadway
Route 530 Westbound
• New York → Lincoln → Spring → Broadway → Aurora Transportation Center → Broadway → Spring → Lincoln → New York
• Buses will not serve New York between Lincoln and Broadway, and Broadway between New York and Spring
Please note that posted bus stop signs will not be present along the detour routing. Passengers may get on or off the bus at any intersection along the detour where it is safe to do so. Please allow additional travel time during this detour.
