Detour Update

Effective Tuesday, March 30, 2021

Due to additional construction activity on 3^rd in Wilmette, buses leaving Linden CTA Station will operate on the following detour routing:

Route 421 Westbound

Linden CTA Purple Line Station – 3^rd – Greenleaf – 4^th – Central

Route 422 Westbound

Linden CTA Purple Line Station – 3^rd – Greenleaf – 4^th – Central

During this detour, westbound buses will not serve the following segments:

Route 421

3^rd between Greenleaf and Central; Central between 3^rd and 4^th

Route 422

3^rd between Greenleaf and Central; Central between 3^rd and 4^th

Westbound buses will operate on this detour routing until the construction work on 3^rd is complete and the road reopens, which is expected to be on Friday, April 2, 2021.

This detour is in addition to the one that is currently in effect for eastbound buses, which began on Monday, March 8, 2021.
