Routes 314 and 316 Detour Alert
Effective Tuesday, July 18, 2023 ONLY
Due to an event at Morton College in Cicero, Routes 314 and 316 will be unable to enter the Morton College campus. As a result, Routes 314 and 316 will operate the following detour on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, between 4:00pm and 10:00pm:
Route 314 Southbound Detour
Central Avenue → End southbound service at Central Avenue/38th Street
Route 314 Northbound Detour
Begin northbound service at Central Avenue/38th Street → Central Avenue → 35th Street → Laramie Avenue → Pershing Road → Regular routing
Route 316 Southbound Detour
Laramie Avenue → Pershing Road → Central Avenue → End southbound service at Central Avenue/38th Street (Note: southbound trips will not operate on 35th Street or Central Avenue north of 38th Street during the detour)
Route 316 Northbound Detour
Begin northbound service at Central Avenue/38th Street → Regular routing
On the temporary route segments, posted bus stop signs will not be present. Riders can get on or off the bus at any safe intersection along those segments.
Route 316 will resume regular service in this area beginning at 10:00pm Tuesday, July 18, 2023. Route 314 will resume regular service in this area beginning Wednesday July 19, 2023.
