Routes 272, 574, Vernon Hills-Mundelein On Demand Detour Alert and Bus Stop Change

Due to construction at the site of the former Sears at Hawthorn Mall in Vernon Hills, the new bus stop at Hawthorn Mall will be relocated in front of the former Barbara’s Bookstore, as shown in the map below. In addition, buses will no longer use the mall’s east entrance on Milwaukee. Route 272 buses will enter and exit using the mall’s south entrance on Townline. Route 574 buses will enter using the mall’s south entrance on Townline but will continue to exit the mall at Ring/Milwaukee.
Buses will detour and serve the new bus stop until further notice. Please allow additional travel time during this detour.
