Route 322 Detour Update
Effective Monday, August 10, 2020
Starting Monday August 10, 21st Avenue (between Parkes Drive and 19th Street) and 19th Street (between 21st Avenue and 17th Avenue) in Broadview will be closed for reconstruction. As a result, the detour that began March 2, 2020 in response to new weight restrictions on the Cermak Road Bridge over Addison Creek (between 21st Avenue and 17th Avenue) in Broadview will be modified.
Starting Monday, August 10, all Route 322 buses will detour as follows:
Route 322 Eastbound Detour:
Route 322 Westbound Detour:
Cermak Road → 1st Avenue → Roosevelt Road → 25th Avenue → 22nd Street → 21st Avenue → Cermak Road → resume regular route
Please note that eastbound posted stops from Cermak Road/Terry Lane to Cermak Road/3rd Avenue and westbound posted stops from Cermak Road/1st Avenue to Cermak Road/17th Avenue will not be served during this detour. On the temporary route segments, posted bus stop signs will not be present. Riders can get on or off the bus at any safe intersection along those segments.
Buses will detour as shown above until the 21st Avenue and 19th Avenue construction is suspended this winter, which is expected to be at the end of November 2020. At that time, an updated notice will be posted and Route 322 will resume the detour caused by the Cermak Road Bridge weight restrictions.
Please allow extra travel time for Route 322 trips during this detour.
