Under the direction of the General Counsel, represents Pace and its employees in complex personal injury cases, property damage, employment, and contract matters in federal court, state court, and in inter-company arbitration; researches legal issues; and handles other duties as assigned. Travel to Cook and its collar counties is required.
Qualified candidate must hold a Juris Doctor degree, have a minimum of eight (8) years litigation experience (including jury trials), be licensed to practice law in Illinois in both state and federal court, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have good work history. This position is subject to the provisions set forth in 5 ILCS 430/5-45 ( c ) of the State Officials and Employee Ethics Act.
