Job Description:
Under the direction of the Section Manager, Service Analysis, assists Pace staff in validating the Automatic Passenger Counters (APC's) to ensure compliance with National Transit Database (NTD) requirements. Using an Android based tablet, travels on busses to manually count boarding and alighting activity on selected runs to compare with APC results. Reviews the data collected to ensure accuracy and compliance with NTD requirements. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidate must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license. Individuals hired for this position must be able to manage traveling by vehicle throughout Pace's six-county service area, be proficient in all Microsoft Office products, as well as other computer applications required for specific job functions, and be prepared to write documents related to job duties. Candidate must have good communication skills, work ethic, and the ability to work well individually and with others.
