Under the direction of the Section Manager, Recruitment, assists the Human Resources (HR) recruitment team by sourcing candidates and administering pre-employment and bus operating skills tests. Assists HR staff with new employee orientations and exit interviews. Enters data into the Human Resources Information System, completes new hire files, maintains file records, and performs background and employment reference checks. Performs other duties as assigned. Work is performed in an office environment.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, an associate or bachelor's degree is preferred. Must have a minimum of three years of administrative experience, preferably in HR, and knowledge of business English, spelling, grammar, and computer software such as MS Office Suite. Knowledge of federal and state laws related to HR is required. Must have skill in multi-tasking and the ability to prioritize. Must have good organizational and people skills. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
