Under the direction of the Section Manager, Design and Construction and the Contract Administrator Supervisor, prepares quality assurance reviews of construction design documents to ensure conformance with Pace's construction contract, with particular attention to Division 1 and Warranties. Prepares purchase requisitions for construction projects. Compiles change order packages and requisitions to ensure scope changes are incorporated into the project. Monitors contractors' submittals to ensure compliance with Pace construction contract and Pace procedures. Examines contractors' applications for payment and all waivers prior to payment. Reviews certified payrolls, closeout documents, and warranty work. Schedules and holds all construction progress meetings. Performs other duties as assigned and required.
Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Must have a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 5 years' experience in construction management, a bachelor's degree focused on construction management and 2 years of experience in construction management is preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, a skilled proofreader, and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment but local travel to job sites is required. Lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds is required.
