Job Description:
Under the direction of the Department Manager, Priority Project Management Office, performs contract administration and administrative duties for the department including typing, editing, proofreading, formatting, scanning, data entry, copying, printing, ordering supplies, reviewing invoices, coordinating document reviews, coordinating, scheduling, and attending meetings, preparing meeting minutes, maintaining the department calendars, maintaining documents and files, handling department timesheets, making travel arrangements, answering and handling telephone calls and emails, collecting and distributing mail, entering new requisitions and releases for invoice payments, and assisting with special reports; and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, an associate or bachelor's degree is preferred. Must have a minimum of three years' administrative assistant experience and an excellent work history, including attendance. Must possess a high degree of competence using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, prior experience using Oracle is preferred. Must be able to type with speed and accuracy and be adept at proofreading and editing documents. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. Must be organized, detail oriented, adept at prioritizing work, and able to successfully work on numerous tasks and/or projects simultaneously and efficiently to meet deadlines. Work is performed in a professional office environment and the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds is expected.
