A high-quality public transportation system is important to me.
I am interested in seeing more transportation opportunities developed in the suburbs as a way to combat increased traffic congestion.
It is my understanding that Pace, the suburban bus division of the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) has developed a plan called VISION 2020.
This plan coordinates the efforts and interests of community groups and units of local governments to address the transportation needs of all residents of northeastern Illinois.

Please know that I support this effort to improve public transportation. I encourage my community leaders to become involved with Pace’s Vision 2020 plan by participating in discussions with the agency and contributing information about our area.
