Pace Federal Project Requests

Lake County Arterial Transit Signal Priority Project

PROJECT: This project creates transit signal priority (TSP) corridors on Grand Avenue from Waukegan to Gurnee, and on Milwaukee Avenue from Golf Road to Vernon Hills. It is part of an expansive network of TSP routes throughout the suburban area of northeastern Illinois on arterial streets.

COST: The cost for the Lake County Arterial TSP project is $1,095,000.

UPDATE:  The west Grand Ave. portion of this project was included in the House FY07 appropriations bill.

Pace will continue to advocate for future funding for this project in upcoming appropriations bills.
