What is Pace ADA Paratransit Service? Pace ADA Paratransit is a service of the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA), and is the region’s paratransit service in accordance with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA). Pace ADA Service is a shared ride transit service, for people who are unable to use fixed route public transportation due to their disability (Shared ride means that multiple passengers may ride together in the same vehicle). The service provides daily trips throughout the City of Chicago as well as suburban (limited areas). Rides are offered in the same service areas, and during the same hours of operation as the fixed route.
