| Route 580, 581 and 582 -- Discontinuation |

Pace held public hearings on Wednesday, September
16th at the Vernon Hills Metra Station and Thursday, September 17th
at the Buffalo Grove Metra Station to propose the discontinuation
of Routes 580, 581 and 582.
At the October 14, 2009 Pace Board of Directors meeting, the
Board voted to approve discontinuing Route 580 Vernon Hills Shuttle
Bug, Route 581 Buffalo Grove Metra Station to Lincolnshire and Route
582 Buffalo Grove Metra Sta. to Discover/Takeda/Baxter due to the
expiration of a federal grant and a decline in ridership. Discontinuation
will occur after the last trip is operated on Friday, November 20,
2009.

| Proposed ADA Paratransit Fare Increases, Discontinuation
of the ADA Paratransit Chicago Monthly Pass, Discontinuation of
Free ADA Paratransit Transfers between the City of Chicago and Suburbs,
and Reduction of ADA Paratransit Reservation Hours |

Pace held 13 public hearings from September 21-25,
2009 to discuss:
- An increase in ADA Paratransit fares to the maximum allowable
by law which is twice the amount of cash fares for fixed route.
- The discontinuation of the ADA Paratransit Chicago Monthly
Pass.
- The discontinuation of free ADA Paratransit transfers between
the City of Chicago and suburbs.
- Reduction of reservation hours.
At the October 14, 2009 Pace Board of Directors meeting, the
board voted to table a vote eliminating the ADA Paratransit free
transfers between the City of Chicago and suburbs pending further
discussion.
The Board approved raising the ADA paratransit fare to a uniform
$3.00 region wide effective November 15, 2009 and approved eliminating
the Chicago ADA monthly pass as of November 1, 2009.
In regards to the reduction of ADA paratransit reservation hours,
the board tabled this matter pending further discussion.
