The Pace Board of Directors, at their meeting on December 14, 2011, voted
to:
Continue Route 576 Shuttle Bug providing rush hour service between the
Metra Deerfield station and Siemens, Walgreens and Lecia in Buffalo Grove
and Lincolnshire by adding $1.00 surcharge to Shuttle Bug riders. Demonstration
Project for 6 months.
This surcharge will take effect on January 3, 2012

The Pace Board of Directors, at their meeting on February 1, 2012, voted
to:
Eliminate mid-day service on Route 550 – Big Timber-North Randall which
includes eight trips, four northbound and four southbound; beginning from
9:45 a.m. through 3:13 p.m.
Route 550 restructuring will continue to serve an area of high population
and employment density along the route.
This service change will take effect February 27, 2011.

Pace held a public hearing on the elimination of Route 802 and restructuring
of Route 801

Pace, the Suburban Bus Division of the RTA
The Pace Board of Directors voted to:
Realign Route 801 Elgin-Geneva to provide service to areas of high
population and employment density along Randall Road;
Discontinue Route 802 Aurora-St. at the Geneva Metra Station;
Provide the Geneva-St. Charles Call-n-Ride to replace the eliminated
fixed-route segments with increased service.
After reviewing the feedback from the public, Pace has enlarged the area
of the Geneva-St. Charles Call-n-Ride north to be bounded by the Union Pacific
Railroad line on the north, Kirk Road on the east, State Street (IL 38)
on the south and Randall Road on the west, with service being provided to
the Kane County Judicial Center on certain trips.
Additionally, service will be provided north of the Union Pacific between
the Fox River, Delnor, and IL 25.
These service changes will take effect December 12, 2011.

Pace held a public hearing at the City of Highland Park on the elimination
of Route 473 and restructuring of Routes 471 and 472 to cover the productive
portions of 473.

The Pace Board of Directors, at their meeting on
October 12, 2011, voted to:
Eliminate 473 and restructure Routes 471 and 472.
Route 471 will now serve the Highland Park Metra Station, Deerfield
Metra Station, Jewel, Safety Corner, Deerbrook Mall, Northbrook Court
and Crossroads Shopping Center.
Route 472 will now serve Target, Highland Park Metra Station, Highland
Park Hospital, Downtown Highwood, Fort Sheridan Metra Station and Highland
Park High School.
The Pace Board of Directors, at their meeting on
October 12, 2011, voted to:
The Pace Board of Directors approved changes to Route 301 Roosevelt
Road and Route 747 DuPage Connection as well as the implementation of
a Call-n-Ride in the Wheaton/Winfield area as proposed by staff.
Changes to service will be implemented on December 12, 2011.

Proposed Elimination of Saturday Service on
Route 372
June 4, 2011
The Pace Board of Directors, at their meeting on
July 6, 2011, voted to:
Eliminate Saturday service on Route 372 due to a continual pattern
of low ridership and failure to meet all minimum performance standards.
Reallocate funds to Route 366 and Route 367 for increased frequency
of service.
These changes are expected to be implemented on Monday August 22, 2011.
