Under the direction of the General Counsel, represents Pace in commercial, construction, real estate and transactional matters in Illinois Federal and State Court; drafts, negotiates, reviews, and revises policies, and contracts and agreements involving construction, purchases of goods, services, and real estate; handles real estate closings, mechanic liens, and construction disputes; assists with contract administration and record retention; conducts legal research; writes legal memoranda; and handles other duties as assigned. Travel to Cook and its collar counties is required.
Qualified candidate must: have a Bachelor's degree, a Juris Doctor degree, have a minimum of five (5) years' experience practicing commercial/transactional and real estate law, be licensed to practice law in Illinois State and Federal Court, hold a valid Illinois driver's license, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an excellent work history.
