Under the direction of the DBE Liaison Officer (DBELO), receives and directs telephone messages. Receives, opens, date stamp and distributes mail and DBE certification applications. Maintains general filing system of approved and certified DBE files and compliance files. Assists in the planning and preparation of meetings, conferences, and networking seminars/workshops. Prepares letters and documents. Assists the DBELO with Compliance of DBE, including sending letters and affidavits to clients, tracking payments made from prime contractors to DBE certified DBE companies using Excel. Provides general administrative and clerical supports. Schedules appointments and maintains an electronic calendar for the DBE department.
High School diploma or GED equivalent. Some college level business courses preferred.
