Capital Construction Project Manager

Job Description:
Under the direction of the Section Manager, Field Construction, manages architectural/engineering services contracts, prepares documents for construction and serves as field inspector during construction. Writes task order project scopes for solicitation of Architectural and Engineering professional services. Reviews and negotiates proposed Architectural professional services proposals and fees. Manages project documentation and contractual responsibilities during pre-design, design development, and construction. Performs quality assurance/quality control reviews for Architectural and Engineering design submittals. Supervises construction contract work in the field, ensures that project is constructed in accordance with detailed plans and specifications. Writes construction documents for bid letting for construction. Performs all close out tasks associated with the completion of all architectural and engineering services and construction contract work on projects assigned.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering. Must be a licensed Architect or Engineer, LEED Certification is a plus. Ten to fifteen years of design and construction inspection work with knowledge of diesel and compressed natural gas (CNG) bus maintenance fueling and storage facilities. Recent experience with CNG is required. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, CADD2012. Most work is performed in normal office environment but must have the ability to maneuver on a construction site.
