Superintendent of Maintenance

Job Description:
Under the direction of the Regional Manager or Designate, responsible for bus and vehicle fleet maintenance, utilization of maintenance manpower, maintenance and security of the vehicles, facilities, and grounds. Coordinate and direct the maintenance staff in daily operations, training/testing, monitoring productivity, quality of work, and adherence to established standards. Administer Pace policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and develop and implement these programs and practices. Assist with maintenance budgets and staffing planning, review purchasing costs and stockroom activities. Participate in grievance hearings, labor/management and staff meetings. Provide technical expertise and knowledge to assist and support the maintenance staff/division vehicle fleet. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidate must have at least (6) years maintenance experience, minimum two years management experience, excellent work history, excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills. This is a safety sensitive position. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid CDL Class A license and must be at least 21 years of age.
